Founded in 2007, New York-based Zocdoc helps patients find and book doctor appointments via its website or app. People enter the kind of physician they think they need, health insurance information, and a preferred time, and then Zocdoc offers a list of available appointments for booking. The new round of $150 million in funding from Francisco Partners announced Thursday is the “single largest total amount of funding Zocdoc has received at once,” the company said, bringing the total growth capital raised by the company to more than $370 million.
