Eden Health
Matt McCambridge and Scott Sansovich, the cofounders of Eden Health, bet that hybrid care—a combination of both telemedicine and in-person visits—would be the path forward. But instead of focusing on selling services to individuals, like most concierge services, the company targets small and midsize employers. That bet is paying off big time. New York-based Eden Health has performed more than 300,000 Covid-19 screenings since the pandemic began. The company says it helps its clients lower overall healthcare costs by up to $801 per employee each year. Eden Health announced a $60 million Series C round on Thursday led by Insight Partners, with participation from Amigos Health, Aspect Ventures, Company Ventures, Flare Capital, among others. This brings the company’s total funding to $100 million in the span of two years. www.forbes.com/sites/katiejennings/2021/02/18/this-startup-raised-60-million-to-bring-concierge-medicine-to-employees/
